It's more different than many other battery tubes out there...it has the air control cap from the 69 and a completely different button.  As far as I can see, the only similarity between the nemesis and the caravela is that they are both battery tubes!

There are other mods out there that have borrowed much more in terms of Pedro's design than the nemesis...The atmomixani team is actually quite innovative in my opinion.

Have to agree with dredd on this this one it holds a battery the same as the caravela and that's about all I could find the same

I'm really looking forward to this because of the air control it'll be great for my trap tank. That picture is only the prototype version I have been following this since it came about.

I have to also agree with Dredd and Bk. I don't see any intention of copying the Caravela in this mod. It is very nice, and very original, and I actually have to compliment the creator for NOT trying to capture the essence of the Caravela in this. I am sure the temptation is VERY high for anyone who makes a battery tube, but I don't see it here.

This mod is not a copy,  not others yes like the ORIGIN,  that have the courage copy and claim "beyond the caravela " this lack of respect is that offends.  He copy the caravela and says.....beyond the caravela.  Is a lack of honour and respect.
Kind regards
Pedro

I had to google that. I am not a member of that forum, and do not want to be. But you have NO worries my friend. A very good machinist maybe can make a copy of the Caravela, but only the man, Pedro, can give that mod the special life, the "espírito" that I see you struggle to keep for your beautiful creation. This cannot come from any lathe or drill or buff wheel. This can only come from the Coração puro that you put in every one. There are few fools, and the Caravela will stand against all forgeries. Anyone can put a fake painting on the wall, but only the owners of the real thing will get to feel the pride of knowing the real artist stood at the creation, and put his effort in it.

I once went to Firenza, and stood before Michelangelos "David". Yes, it is beautiful and with today's science it could easily be copied exactly. But it was not the beauty that was breathtaking. It was the realization that once, The Artist himself stood before this work with his tools and created it with his own hands. When I hold my Caravela, I know that YOU once held this same Caravela, and put your effort into this original idea. And this is what makes it most special of all.

This photo would have helped in the OP....clever actually  ;)

My knee jerk reaction seeing a simple brass tube, was "well here is another one" and the photos are pretty lousy.  my bad  *facepalm*

It actually reminds me more of the GP Paps X previews I've seen.

I have not seen the paps top cap yet but tube and button look very similar.
